Setting up shipping zones for Pakistan and international delivery
How to configure Martivo shipping zones and rates for domestic Pakistan delivery and optional international orders.
How Martivo shipping works
Shipping is zone-based. Each zone matches countries (and optionally states or postcodes) and contains one or more rates. At checkout, Martivo shows only rates that match the customer’s address and order weight or value rules.
Recommended Pakistan setup
Start with two zones: “Lahore metro” for same-city delivery and “Rest of Pakistan” for nationwide courier. Keep names clear so customers understand what they are buying.
- Lahore metro — flat rate (e.g. ₨150–250) or free over a minimum order amount.
- Rest of Pakistan — higher flat rate or weight-based tiers for heavier parcels.
- Optional: a “Pickup” rate at ₨0 if customers collect from your branch.
Weight-based and free shipping
If you sell fabrics or multi-item carts, use weight-based rates with min/max weight bands. Free shipping is just another rate with price 0 and a minimum order amount — Martivo hides paid rates when a free option applies for that cart.
International delivery
Add a zone with country codes for destinations you actually ship to (e.g. AE, GB, US). Price for real courier costs including duties handling. If you do not ship abroad yet, leave those countries out — customers will not see invalid rates.
- Use ISO country codes in the zone configuration.
- State clearly in your store policies which countries you fulfill.
- Consider a higher processing time for cross-border orders in your product or page copy.
Test before you advertise
From a private browser, add an item to cart and try postcodes for Lahore vs another city. Confirm the rates and totals look right. Wrong shipping is the fastest way to cancel orders on day one.
