Aroura

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026. These Terms are between you and FutureDevSolutions, the operator of Aroura (aroura.online). By submitting an onboarding request, creating an account, or otherwise using Aroura, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Aroura is a multi-tenant commerce platform: software for operating an online store, including subdomain-based storefront hosting, product catalog and multi-branch inventory management, cart and order management, coupons and discounts, product reviews, CMS pages and a blog, shipping zone and rate configuration, a media library for uploaded files, real-time and push notifications, and analytics/reporting dashboards. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Roles and accounts

  • Owner: the merchant who registers a store, is billed for the subscription, and has full control of that store. An owner account and store are created after we review and approve an onboarding request.
  • Staff: users an owner invites to help run their store, with specific capabilities the owner grants (product management, order handling, customer support, CMS editing, and/or coupon management). Staff may only perform actions within the capabilities granted to them.
  • Support admin and super admin: internal Aroura roles used by our team to operate and support the platform. Support admins can only access stores explicitly assigned to them for support purposes.
  • You must provide accurate registration and onboarding information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account and any staff accounts you invite.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

Onboarding and approval

  • To become a merchant, you submit an onboarding request with your business details, desired store subdomain, branch address, subscription plan, and billing interval.
  • Our team reviews each onboarding request before your owner account and store are provisioned; we may approve or reject a request, including for reasons of policy compliance, fraud prevention, or capacity.
  • If your onboarding payment method is a manual channel (HBL bank transfer or JazzCash), your store is provisioned only after we verify the payment; providing false or fraudulent payment references is a material breach of these Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle, in the currency configured for your store (Pakistani Rupees, PKR, by default).
  • Card-based subscription billing is processed by Stripe. We keep your subscription status, plan, and billing period synchronized with Stripe, including through a daily automated reconciliation job.
  • You may instead pay for onboarding via bank transfer (HBL) or mobile wallet (JazzCash); those payments are verified manually by our team rather than processed automatically.
  • Each plan sets limits on your store, such as the number of products, staff seats, and storage you may use, and which optional features (coupons, blog, reviews, analytics) are enabled; exceeding your plan's limits may require an upgrade.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or reactivate your subscription at any time from the dashboard (or, for the mobile app, through the equivalent in-app flow); downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle with no additional charge, upgrades may require immediate payment of a prorated amount, and cancellations remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase. We may change plan pricing with reasonable notice; continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
  • Failure to pay, or a payment that remains unverified, may result in suspension of your store's paid features or, ultimately, expiry of the subscription.

Your content, your storefront, and your customers

  • You retain ownership of the products, images, videos, documents, branding, and other content you upload or create through your store, CMS pages, and blog posts.
  • You grant Aroura a license to host, store, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the platform and your storefront.
  • You are the merchant of record for sales made through your storefront and are responsible for product accuracy, pricing, taxes, shipping and fulfillment commitments, and compliance with consumer-protection and tax laws applicable to your business and customers, including those of Pakistan where applicable.
  • You are responsible for the personal data of your own customers that you collect and process through your store (names, contact details, addresses, order history, and reviews); Aroura processes this data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy, and you remain responsible for obtaining any consents and providing any disclosures your customers are legally owed.
  • Aroura provides a CMS page type for you to publish your own storefront-facing policies (for example, your own privacy policy, refund policy, or terms of sale). Publishing and keeping those pages accurate and lawful for your business is your responsibility; they are separate from these platform-level Terms and our own Privacy Policy.
  • You are solely responsible for the legality and rights clearance of any file you upload (images, video, PDFs, documents, or archives); uploads are subject to file-type and size limits enforced by the platform, and we may reject or remove files that violate this section or applicable law.

Notifications and communications

By registering a device for push notifications or providing a phone/email during checkout or registration, you consent to receive transactional communications (order updates, OTP verification codes, password resets, billing and subscription alerts) related to your use of the platform. Merchants may also send optional promotional push notifications to storefront customers who have opted in; customers may opt out of promotional messages at any time while continuing to receive transactional ones.

Acceptable use

You may not use Aroura for illegal goods or services, fraud, counterfeit or infringing products, malware, or activities that harm others, and you may not attempt to access another merchant's store data or probe our infrastructure without authorization. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of prohibited products, services, and conduct. We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts and stores that violate these rules.

Platform rights

  • We may moderate content, restrict features, or suspend access for policy violations, suspected fraud, non-payment, or legal requirements.
  • The Aroura name, logo, dashboard, and underlying software are the intellectual property of FutureDevSolutions.
  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law; see the limitation of liability below.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aroura and FutureDevSolutions are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, or lost data, arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination and data export

  • You may cancel your subscription and request deletion of your account and store data at any time via Dashboard → Settings or the Account Deletion Request page.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account or store for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unverifiable onboarding payment references.
  • Upon termination, your access to the dashboard ends. Export catalog, order, and customer data you need before cancelling, where possible; certain billing, audit, and compliance records will be retained by us afterward as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Aroura platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of Aroura after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
